I never thought I would be so happy to be a white belt, but I got my first level at Columbia Martial Arts last night. Â It was a standup and sparring class.
I got hit by a spinning kick and a spinning backfist. Â Hmm, maybe I have to keep my eyes open more. Â Saw some stars definitely, but the only way to learn is to spar with harder guys and this gym has tons of friendly people to kick my ass.
Preet also got a stripe on his yellow belt so that is awesome. Â Congratulations to him!
